My husband and I are fairly new to Wicomico County, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. We are escapees from the Washington DC area, and nearly every week that goes by brings something that amazes, astounds, or confounds us. And because of these things (or sometimes in spite of these things) we love it here.
We live in a village where nearly everyone knows each other, so I’ll refer our town as Wicomicoville and obscure or otherwise fudge identifying details. The things I hope to write about could easily, I believe, happen in any town in Wicomico County.
